We have become accustomed to the idea that we do not care anything about anything. We have grown so lazy that we are quite accustomed to having others do things for us, while we get everything ready-made, perhaps not so well done, but ready-made. On the other hand, a tremendous amount of vanity and malice has accumulated in us. This is not to be wondered at: sedentary life! We are craving for something to do and are angry as we lie about that there does not seem to be anything to do. Perhaps if we knew how to love, we might have found something to do; for it is possible to love even during a bilious attack...
